What is Cost per household?
Cost per household is what you pay to reach each unique TV household. CTV is bought and measured at the household level, so this is the reach price that matters more than CPM.
Worked example
If spend is $25,000 and households reached is 180,000, then Cost per household = $0.14.
Cost per household = Spend ÷ Households reached

Tactical application guide
Cost per household links spend and households reached in a fixed ratio, so any two pin down the third. Planning backwards is where it earns its keep: enter the spend you have and the Cost per household you are targeting, and the solver tells you the households reached you must secure. Or lock households reached and Cost per household from a benchmark to see the spend that plan implies before you commit.
