What is GRPs?
GRPs measure the total weight of a TV buy: reach as a percentage of the target audience multiplied by average frequency. They let you compare CTV plans with linear TV in the language TV buyers already use.
Worked example
If average frequency is 4x and reach is 35%, then GRPs = 140.00.
GRPs = Average frequency × Reach %

Tactical application guide
GRPs scales with both average frequency and reach. Use it forwards to forecast GRPs from a plan, or backwards: fix the GRPs you need and the reach you can realistically achieve, and the solver returns the average frequency required. Swap them to find the reach you must hit on a fixed average frequency.
