What is CPCL?
CPCL is the price of each audio ad heard all the way through. It is the cleanest way to compare streaming audio and podcast buys that are sold on different impression definitions.
Worked example
If spend is $4,000 and completed listens is 80,000, then CPCL = $0.05.
CPCL = Spend ÷ Completed listens

Tactical application guide
CPCL links spend and completed listens in a fixed ratio, so any two pin down the third. Planning backwards is where it earns its keep: enter the spend you have and the CPCL you are targeting, and the solver tells you the completed listens you must secure. Or lock completed listens and CPCL from a benchmark to see the spend that plan implies before you commit.
