What is CPI?
CPI is the average cost of each app install driven by your ads. It is the entry price of mobile growth, but the installs only pay off if users stick around and spend.
Worked example
If spend is $15,000 and installs is 6,000, then CPI = $2.50.
CPI = Spend ÷ Installs

Tactical application guide
CPI links spend and installs in a fixed ratio, so any two pin down the third. Planning backwards is where it earns its keep: enter the spend you have and the CPI you are targeting, and the solver tells you the installs you must secure. Or lock installs and CPI from a benchmark to see the spend that plan implies before you commit.
