What is Payer conversion?

Payer conversion is the share of active players who have made any purchase. In free-to-play games it is usually low single digits, which makes small lifts very valuable.

Worked example

If paying players is 800 and active players is 40,000, then Payer conversion = 2.00%.

Payer conversion = (Paying players ÷ Active players) × 100

Tactical application guide

Payer conversion links paying players and active players in a fixed ratio, so any two pin down the third. Planning backwards is where it earns its keep: enter the paying players you have and the Payer conversion you are targeting, and the solver tells you the active players you must secure. Or lock active players and Payer conversion from a benchmark to see the paying players that plan implies before you commit.
