What is eCPM?
Seller eCPM is the effective revenue you earn per thousand paid impressions, whatever the pricing model behind them. It lets you compare CPM, CPC and flat-fee demand on one scale.
Worked example
If ad revenue is $1,800 and paid impressions is 900,000, then eCPM = $2.00.
eCPM = (Ad revenue ÷ Paid impressions) × 1000

Tactical application guide
eCPM links ad revenue and paid impressions in a fixed ratio, so any two pin down the third. Planning backwards is where it earns its keep: enter the ad revenue you have and the eCPM you are targeting, and the solver tells you the paid impressions you must secure. Or lock paid impressions and eCPM from a benchmark to see the ad revenue that plan implies before you commit.
