Waiting for 3 values to solve Revenue.
What is Revenue?
The revenue forecast multiplies traffic, conversion rate and order value into expected sales. Because any of the four can be solved, it doubles as a way to find the traffic or AOV you need to hit a number.
Worked example
If sessions is 50,000, conversion rate is 2.5% and AOV is $70, then Revenue = $87,500.00.
Revenue = Sessions × Conversion rate % × AOV

Tactical application guide
Revenue is the product of sessions, conversion rate and AOV, so a gap in one must be made up by the others. Fill any three to solve the fourth: set a Revenue goal and two levers you trust, and see exactly how far the remaining lever has to move.
